Tomato Garlic Rice

Ingredients

  • 2.00 cup(s) of Rice
  • 2.00 ml(s) of Olive Oil
  • 1.00 piece(s) of Onion
  • 3.00 piece(s) of Garlic
  • 2.00 piece(s) of Tomato
  • 1.00 piece(s) of Carrot
  • 1.00 cup(s) of Frozen Peas
  • 1.00 tsp(s) of Salt
  • 0.50 tsp(s) of Black Pepper

Directions

Rinse rice until water runs clear. Heat olive oil in a pot, sauté chopped onion and garlic until fragrant. Add diced tomato and carrot and cook until softened. Stir in rice and peas, then add water (2:1 ratio), salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer until rice absorbs all liquid. Fluff and serve warm.
